Good news

I am very pleased to announce the addition of a new and exciting line of eyewear to our store - ONKEL EYEWEAR from Germany. The company is only 10 years old and is all about design and quality materials. The new collection is absolutely stunning and we can't wait to receive it and show it to our customers.

Götti eyewear: new styles are here!

Yes, finally! A new line of titanium frames with epoxy, yes you heard right, epoxy temples is here. The frames are, again, sleek, sophisticated and extremely lightweight and comfortable. The colors range from cool brushed silver with semi- translucent white temples to gun with matt Burgundy and purple with opaque green. Very nice, I must say. We also have the beautiful Götti titanium sunglasses back in stock, although 2 are gone already.

Cheers all!

Meyer Eyewear news

I am very happy to report that Meyer Eyewear frames are doing extremely well at our store, finding the intended customer much faster than I could ever have predicted. Some people just can't get enough of them, ending up ordering two pairs at once. But as I see it, Meyer designs might very well manifest what could be that perfect pair of frames. Their graceful, polished lines grab your attention yet let the face do the talking. Absolutely brilliant!

At this point we are actually running lower on inventory than I'd like and we are working with Andrea over at Meyer headquarters in Berlin on assembling new shipment. Andrea says most items are in stock and promises everything should be ready to ship within 2-3 weeks. Needless to say, we expect it with much anticipation. Not only we'll get the sold out styles back in stock, but the new styles, set to be shown in Paris next month, look very promising as well. Seems like we might have them here before they ever shown in Paris!

There is a new color too - copper - and in addition to Buffalo and Reindeer horn temples, Meyer guys are introducing new temples crafted out of fine wood.

Check back for updates, or simply stop by our store to see all Meyer collection has to offer.

Vibskov

It's official, we have Vibskov's deigns. Seeing them in person for the first time I must add the quality is impeccable.

First, the sunglasses.

While I was quite upset about the fact that we could not get Andy style in white due to production difficulties, I am more than happy with the way the frames look in both red and black. I believe Andy is one of the most unique shapes on the market today, yet it is unconditionally simple. Itotally love this frame! It has purpose, it breathes life and fun and its 80's lines are simply irresistible.

And now the rest of the stuff - backpacks, laptop bags, scarves and undies.
Here, take a look.

There are three colors of Old Strong Undies - black/red, navy/white and red/white. All have matching Old Tank Tops, but our quantities are miniscule.

Below, Piggysan Laptop Cover in black.

Orgreen: frame of the day

Miriam is very cute and happy to get her new Orgreens'! She fell in love with Catalina style in burgundy/teal and now it's hers.

Enjoy! I forsee zillions of compliments.

Derome Brenner: sunglasses

I know, I know...I probably sound ridiculously repetitive, but what can I say, we sell out of most of the styles we import. These cool, vintage inspired styles, for instance, have been gone for more than a month and are finally back in stock. While Bonnie, above, is definitely a frame for girls (never say never), GOB 9, below, is a knock-out regardless of which bathroom you use. This drop dead gorgeous, pure as tears aviator shape is the ultimate expression of style and the good news is, it fits and looks good on almost everyone. This style is available in 3 colors - black, metallic brown and metallic grey and comes with either solid or faded tint lenses.

DB's plastics are unbelievably natural to a touch and unlike majority of plastic frames on the market are not manufatured in China. Yes, because they are handmade in France, in the heart of the Loire Valley, they feel soft and luxurious against the skin and you quickly forget you are wearing any frames on your face at all. Don't worry, the jealous looks on people's faces you'll be passing in the street will be constantly reminding you about them.

Just look at the details! The layers of laminate, laser cut-outs, these are all hand-made and it is no surprise they are exhibited at Le Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. The one below, a three piece Huggy ensemble consisting of sunglasses, matching bracelet and necklace, shown in cream and ivory here, is simply stunning. The jewelry is made from the same material and wether you wear it as a set or just on its own, prepare to be stopped. The Huggy collection consists of few styles of frames and is also available in black/ivory and brown/turquoise. All pieces can be purchased separately or as a set.

MYKITA

Several MYKITA sun styles are also back in stock. In addition to Viktor, pic above, and which we have in silverline with faded grey lenses and pearl with solid green, we finally received two new models - Bruce and Jacob. Sadly, we still can't get our hands on any of the styles in gold color due to rabid popularity in Europe. Damn it, I want one and even I can't get it.

By the way, someone just called inquiring about one of the MYKITA ophthalmic frames and this gentleman specifically wanted to know if the frames are durable enough to handle the abuse of reading Rx lenses. Absolutely! MYKITA's eyeglasses are made with surgical grade of stainless steel and are ridiculously flexible and light.

In addition to that, there are no screws and as a result the maintenance is minimal and comfort is absolute.

Dita Decade: back in stock!

One of the most coveted styles from Dita, Decade, one in gold, one in black/gold and one in white/gold, appeared out of the blue today after a two months backorder hiatus.
