Second shipment of Cutler and Gross....

...is smoking hot! Sex, lips and sultry French poetry are just few of the things that make this collection simply irresistible.

General update

With Spivvy sold out, PropoDesign stock count down to bare bones, and with SpecEspace making a grand entrance, it looks like Spectacles for Humans is continuing to drill where no one saw any potential. Let's just call it off-shore shopping.
Our Japanese friends are so extremely talented and creative it makes it really difficult for us to look for new product some place else.
Still, while we really do feel this way about state of eyewear in Japan, we don't miss an opportunity to examine lines that come our way, be they European... or what not.

During our most recent encounter with Freudenhaus collection we were pleasantly surprised to learn it was finally freed from unsavory distribution grip and is now distributed directly by the company. Good for them! The rules are changing and those who grasp the globalism of this market are destined to thrive.
With that said, we found Freudenhaus, at least at the stage it's at right now, not to be the right line for SFH.
Don't despair, life does not end if we don't carry it. If you live in San Francisco, you will find Freudenhaus at City Optix, Invision Optometry and Urban Optics, all very fine eyewear outlets.

First days with SpecEspace

The collection is finally here !!!

This is classic post-modern Japanese eyewear at its best, where serious avant-garde elements and traditional craftsmanship compliment each other with precision and grace and all we can say is we are privileged to have it.

It is nowhere but Japan where traditional or classical elements can achieve such heights. While the rest of the world actively pursues the ghosts of overproduction, Japanese craftsmen find it rude to hurry. Meticulous, precise and sure of execution, small "mom and pop" shops deliver stunning objects designed by younger generations of eyewear enthusiasts. How can you top this?

Spectacles for Humans ia a track

On September 29th, Mobilee Records releases Marcin Czubala's "Chronicles of Never".

Track # 7 is called "Spectacles for Humans".
With Marcin wearing what appears to be a REIZ Ratte on the cover, we doubt it's a coincidence... and we like it!!!

Vanila, Strawberry, DeromeBrenner

While it may seem like we were laying low last week, it ain't so. We are swinging, branch to branch, scooping up the hottest designs and heading up to the top of the seriously overgrown rain forest that is eye wear today.
There are numerous things in development and some are to remain hush-hush for now, but a new sexy shape for Huggy Collection from DeromeBrenner is blowing the secret lid right off.

Above, Aurelia Brenner is modeling the new Huggy 6 in Flash Red via SKYPE.

p.s.
For those who are waiting for Spec Espace collection to arrive, we apologize for delays. That's just the way it goes and until FDA, NSA, DNC, RNC, USDA and Highway Patrol all make sure it is safe for you, we cannot have it...

Must look cool in the desert

Dr. Martina Rieker lives and works in Egypt and when it comes to eyewear she makes sure to work a stop at Spectacles for Humans into her busy schedule when she visits San Francisco.
"The best eyeglasses I've ever had", she refers to a pair of ORGREEN's Surf with Zeiss GT2 lenses she got from us during her last visit. This time Martina needed sunglasses and a pair of MYKITA Chris was a perfect match.
